There are two awards: highest number of transactions and hightest total aggregate lease value (ALV). The Nominee must meet minimum qualifications for Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club and/or Sales Club award. Nominees must have displayed leadership qualities within GWCAR, been involved in community service and participated in the commercial real estate industry during 2009.
This award is intended to recognize the GWCAR member who best personifies the selfless qualities closely identified with the life and career of Brendan McCarthy. Candidates will be selected for demonstrating those same qualities of unselfishness, caring and giving of oneself to help others.
The Rising Star Award is for members that have been in the industry for five years or less. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications for Multi-Million Dollar Leasing Club and/or Sales Club award AND have been in the business for no more than five years. Applicants should list accomplishments over past five years and have a letter of reference from at least one senior member of his or her firm.
This year's nominations were due February 26.
